Your first page
Play a page of music from the page.
Most of what you've met is on this page: the grand staff and both clefs, four beats a bar, quarter, half and whole notes, a rest wherever one hand waits, finger numbers, and the final bar line.
Put both thumbs on middle C. Each hand's five fingers then sit over the notes it needs, so your eyes can stay on the page. The right hand plays first, the left answers, and the right hand ends.
The click counts one bar in, one beat a second. Keep going whatever happens. When you finish, the page comes back marked in pencil: wrong and missed notes in red, early and late ones in blue.
