Gretchaninov: Children's Album (Kinderbuch), Op. 98

Fifteen short pieces by Alexander Gretchaninov (1924), a child's day in miniatures: a fairy tale, tin soldiers, a hobby-horse ride, a tiresome lesson, a cradle song. Teachers give them in the first years, and exam boards set them in the early grades.
