RCM Level 5 sight-reading

Four piano sight-reading tests written to RCM's published rules for Level 5. Print them, or play one at your MIDI keyboard and get every note marked, then ask for a new one.

Two parts: clapping or tapping a short rhythm while keeping the beat, then playing a short passage at the piano. These tests are the playing part.

Playing one needs a MIDI keyboard and Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer, or Chrome on an Android phone or tablet. Printing needs nothing. No keyboard yet? Which keyboard to buy.

RCM's rules from its Piano Syllabus, 2022 Edition: the Sight Reading section of each level. Clefsight isn't connected with ABRSM or The Royal Conservatory. Clefsight writes these tests to the rules each board publishes for its piano sight-reading test; they aren't the boards' own tests, and a board's real test may use anything its rules allow.
